I just bought these products so I can't evaluate them yet. I will gladly write you a review once I have had a chance to use these products for a while. Please disregard my 3 stars because I just didn't want to give an evaluation until I had a chance to use and evaluate them.
I do have a suggestion for Patrick. I bought 3 items. One called Body Butter, One called Face Serum...so their job is clearly defined by their name. But I can't remember what the 3rd item, Castor Blend, was supposed to be used for. So tonight when Patrick was doing his commercial on Liberty Den, I thought, “Oh great, I can hear what the purpose of this item is....but all Patrick did was advertise about the special price of his products is, and he didn't mention what the products are good for.
I tried his items because my skin is a mess and I am desperate to find something to heal my dry hands which are covered in little cuts which my skin doc says is eczema, and maybe even relieve the wrinkles in my face. (I'm 78 and only recently, I have begun to show wrinkles) so I am trying the Face Serum for that. My problem with my hands is that I live in LA which is way to dry for my skin and my hands crack and bleed painfully every winter. I spent a month in Miami during the Christmas holiday and my hands healed immediately. And once I got back to LA, the painful cracks returned. I am trying the Body Butter first and after I give that a chance, then will try the other item--the Castor Blend.
But Patrick should tell us in the commercial what the purpose of Castor Blend is. Yes there is a blurb on the packaging about the Castor Blend, but really the typeface on these products is so teeny, tiny that I can’t read it even with my glasses. I remember Patrick saying he used it on his bald head, but fortunately that is not my problem.
Castor Blend looks like an oil, but is it too strong or oily for my face? I don't want to try more than one new thing at a time, just so I can make sure that I don't have any reaction to a new product. But I would really like to know exactly what the recommended use for Castor Blend is.
So here is my advice for Patrick: Please tell us more about the products in your commercial product reads. I was disappointed that you didn't tell us tonight what the Castor Blend is for. Is that the one you once said you used on your head? So would that be better for my hands or is it ok for my face? Again, I will gladly write you a review once I have had a chance to use these products for a while and have a sense of their usefulness for my issues. Patrick, I’ll see you at GART in Las Vegas. Looking forward to it. Hopefully I’ll have a sense of the effectiveness of these products by then.
I have used coconut oil on my skin for years, (with compliments from my dermatologist at my yearly checkup.). Now that I have my Castor Blend I add a drop to my coconut oil morning & night which has definitely upped moisturizing routine!
I am on my second bottle of the Castor Blend and love how it makes my skin look and feel. I do have one complaint, however. My phone no longer recognizes my face and prompts me to enter an access code. (not joking)
It's working great! It's none greasy and it's quickly absorbed. I just wish that it's in a dark colored bottle since castor oil it seems will be oxidized if exposed to light.
